Savoy Thrill

Thanks to everyone who made it to the Savoy on Sat 4 Feb (and thanks to all the friends/family members that some of you brought along). The organisers were delighted with our bit of improvised street theatre, and we have made £500 for the group - enough to fund one of this year's increased number of productions, or to pay for the new storage we need. So please all feel immensely proud of yourselves.

If people have photos of the event that came out very nicely, please email them to me with unseemly haste, as Sonja has organised to have a piece run about the event in the Waltham Forest Guardian. We'll no doubt also feature some of the pics on the website.

If people enjoyed it and would like to do more (as always, your feedback is very welcome), we could see if there is the opportunity for an occasional repeat. I got chatting to the "paparazzi" guys who do this sort of stuff regularly, and they asked if we could keep in touch - always good to have another income stream, I think!

If anyone finds the two missing disposable cameras, just give me a shout and I'll get them returned to the YSG, who are keen to develop the photos from them.

Once again, thanks to everyone for performing with passion and pro-actively supporting the group. It is much appreciated.
